The Buddy Beat - Welcome

BREAKING NEWS! Fresh from being declared The Scottish Epic Award Winner 2011, The Buddy Beat have now won another Arts award- Renfrewshire Provost Community Award in the Arts & Culture category. This was taken on Thursday March 15th at the Buddy Beat Awards Party. Each member was given a beautiful certificate to celebrate our recent success and these were presented by Provost Celia Lawson, second to the left, front row.

Buddy Beat is a drumming group based in the Life Church in Stock Street, Paisley for adults who have mental health issues and was born from a musical social inclusion project at Dykebar Hospital, created by Lead Occupational Therapist Jeanette Allan and Community Musician Dr Jane Bentley.
